Just an FYI for those invested in my continued existence — I made it out alive, having walked the Larapinta Trail end to end from Telegraph Station to Redbank Gorge in twelve days.
It was an absolutely brutal walk through absolutely gorgeous landscapes. I paid the price for a very underwhelming preparation regime, struggling from day one with plantar fasciitis and rationing water across some unforgiving ridge sections.
Happy to be back in Alice Springs with a hot shower and food that doesn't look like it came from the pet-food aisle. Off to Uluru tomorrow.
