Mt Buffalo — granite plateau in the Victorian Alps. Not a peak so much as a great tilted table of rock, with the Horn poking up at the southern end and tarns and snow gums scattered across the top.
Drive up, walk on. The whole plateau feels like it's waiting for weather, even on a calm day.
