All of us are guilty of filling our lives with new & shiny. Things we never new we wanted, solutions to problems that never existed or simply the fun of spending some cash.
We forget those things that have stood the test of time of century or more. Things long since supplanted by their more modern and less robust equivalence.
This short trip was to pay homage to these relics. Provide an old bush shelter a warm bum again, take shelter under an old cabins deck, turn the steering wheel on a tractor that hasn't seen first gear in 40 years.
Go out and see them while they are still here, before the sands of time rot them from existence.
Our modern new will swiftly turn to old and unremarkable having never borne any character at all.
