Sorry for the spam — these updates were written offline, and I've just found a teahouse the other side of Renjo Pass with a satellite service.
Update: most of the team are suffering. I have the beginnings of HACE and am on a triple dose of diamox to clear the fluid from my brain. I'm not sure yet if I'll summit, but I'll at least get to base camp today and then a day of rest to recover. Two days from now we hit high camp, 5,550m, spend one really cold sleepless night, and go for it the next day. Hopefully.
